Through participation in prayers and storytelling, Jaden fosters a strong spiritual and cultural foundation, passing on the teachings that have guided their journey. Whether foraging or crafting Jaden’s work is grounded in a deep respect for the environment and Mi’kmaw traditions.
“I harvest my raw materials according to the teachings I was given. My work is guided by the knowledge of my ancestors and inspired by the stories found in our petroglyphs.” – Jaden
