Glooscap (Pesikitk)

Glooscap First Nation is a small Mi’kmaw community located near Hantsport, Nova Scotia. While travelling to or from the Annapolis Valley, you will see Glooscap Landing along Highway 101 where we invite you to stop, get gas and a snack.

The community prides itself on being named after the legendary hero of the Mi’kmaq, Glooscap whose stories and legends explain much of the beautiful landscape this province has to offer.

While in the area, you will always want to explore the gifts of culture, language, and craft shared by the Makers and Hosts in Glooscap.
