Annapolis Valley First Nation (AVFN) was founded in 1880 and is situated in the beautiful Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. It is a small Mi’kmaw community, with a focus on revitalizing language and culture for future generations.  In recent years they opened the first Mi’kmaw-owned farm in Nova Scotia where they proudly grow an assortment of fruits and vegetables.
