Eskasoni (Eskisoqnik)

Eskasoni is the largest Mi’kmaw community and the largest Indigenous community east of Montréal.  Located along the Bras d’Or Lake in Unama’ki (Cape Breton Island), Nova Scotia, Eskasoni is deeply rooted in their traditional culture and is the largest Mi’kmaw speaking community.
